1. Definitions

"Morocco Steps Travel" refers to the travel operator providing private tour services in Morocco. "Client" refers to the individual or group making a booking. "Proposal" means the written itinerary and pricing sent by Morocco Steps Travel prior to booking confirmation. "Confirmation" occurs when the client accepts the proposal in writing and pays the required deposit.

2. Proposals and booking confirmation

All proposals are personalised quotations prepared on request. A proposal is valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Submitting a contact form or sending a WhatsApp message does not constitute a booking. Your booking is only confirmed once you have:

3. Pricing

All prices quoted are in Euros (EUR) or US Dollars (USD) as specified in the proposal. "From" prices shown on this website are indicative minimums based on a two-person group and standard accommodation. Final prices depend on group size, travel dates, accommodation level and any customisations.

Prices are subject to change until confirmed by deposit. We will not change the price of a confirmed booking unless exceptional circumstances apply (e.g. a significant government-imposed tax increase on services after confirmation).

4. Deposit and payment

A non-refundable deposit — amount specified in each proposal — is required to confirm a booking. The balance is due no later than 14 days before the trip departure date, or on the day of departure for bookings made within 14 days of travel. Payment methods accepted are detailed in each proposal. No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received and acknowledged.

5. Inclusions and exclusions

Each proposal lists what is included and what is not. Typical inclusions: private vehicle with driver for the circuit duration, accommodation as specified, meals listed in the itinerary, camel ride or 4×4 transfer at Sahara stop where indicated. Typical exclusions: flights, airport transfers outside the circuit, travel insurance, personal expenses, activities not listed, single supplement where applicable. The proposal is the authoritative document.

6. Modifications by the client

Modifications requested after confirmation are accommodated where operationally possible. Modifications made more than 14 days before departure — such as upgrading accommodation or adding a day — will be re-quoted and require written acceptance. Modifications within 14 days of departure may incur additional charges reflecting any non-refundable costs already committed.

7. Cancellation by the client

All cancellations must be made in writing (email or WhatsApp message acknowledged by Morocco Steps Travel). Refund schedule from the date of cancellation notice receipt:

The deposit is non-refundable in all cases. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation.

8. Cancellation or modification by Morocco Steps Travel

Morocco Steps Travel reserves the right to cancel or modify a circuit in cases of force majeure, safety concerns, natural disaster, political instability, or conditions beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will offer an alternative itinerary of equal value or a full refund of all payments made. Morocco Steps Travel is not responsible for additional costs incurred by the client (e.g. flights) in connection with a force majeure cancellation.

9. Responsibility and liability

Morocco Steps Travel acts as a local organiser of private tours. We take responsibility for the services we directly supply: vehicle, driver and accommodation we book. We are not liable for services arranged independently by the client, force majeure events, theft of personal belongings, accidents arising from activities undertaken against our advice, or health-related issues arising during the trip. Clients travel at their own risk for activities not covered in the proposal.

10. Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and is not included in any circuit price. Insurance should cover: medical emergencies and repatriation, trip cancellation and curtailment, loss or theft of baggage, and personal liability. Proof of insurance may be requested before travel confirmation.

11. Behaviour and authority of the driver

Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward their driver, local guides, hosts and communities encountered. The driver has authority to make safety decisions on the road and during the circuit. Morocco Steps Travel reserves the right to terminate a booking without refund if a client's behaviour endangers others or causes significant disruption.

12. Governing law and contact

These conditions are governed by Moroccan law. Any disputes will first be addressed through written communication directed to Moroccostepstravel@gmail.com. These terms will be reviewed and formally adopted following legal validation appropriate to Morocco Steps Travel's licensed business status.
